Cable Assemblies

Delmaco can supply you with a replacement cable assembly for any reel we sell. Your custom cable assembly may or may not be for use with a grounding reel. Some defense weaponry applications are for test benches where static could build up in the manufacturing environment and damage delicate semiconductors and circuitry. These cable assemblies typically range in lengths from 2 inches to 10 feet in length.

The components at your disposal are found on the Component Options page, plus any of a wide range of ring or spade terminals for a permanent bolt-in installation*.

Cable material, construction & insulation choices are shown below:
• 3/32" dia. coated to 1/8" dia., 7x7 galvanized cable with clear PVC jacket
• 3/32" dia. coated to 5/32" dia., 7x7 galvanized cable with orange PVC jacket
• 3/32" dia. coated to 5/32" dia., 7x7 galvanized cable with yellow Hytrel jacket
• 3/32" dia. coated to 5/32" dia., 7x7 stainless cable with yellow Hytrel jacket
• 3/32" dia. 7x19 stainless cable, non-jacketed
• Wye ( Y ) branch cable assemblies are available in custom configurations

Clamps:
• Mueller #21C, (100 amp), stamped copper (unplated), overall length: 3-3/4"
• Mueller #11A, (100 amp), stamped steel with zinc plating, overall length: 6"

Example: Military style plug P/N M83413/4-1 to 25 feet of 3/32" dia. stainless cable, with hi-vis yellow DuPont Hytrel jacketing to clamp P/N M83413/7-1 (dwg. below). Another popular custom configuration is a military plug to 50 feet of galvanized cable to a wye connection branching to (2) 15 foot sections of cable with any combination of terminals, clips, clamps, and/or plugs.

Our Cable Assemblies are capable of operating in temperatures as low as -65° F and as high as 125° F. Storage temperatures are -80° F to 160° F. This allows our products to be used almost anywhere in the world, in almost any situation, to protect from static and provide bonding for sensitive electronic circuitry, refueling aircraft, and liquid oxygen transfer.
